Guy Kewney, one of Britains the most influential I.T. journalists died at his home early this morning.  As well as writing about I.T., Guy also worked as a TV presenter for five years on Thames TV's Database and Channel 4's 4 Computer Buffs.  Guy is probably best known for his column in PCW magazine since its launch in 1978.

We had the pleasure of meeting Guy several years ago when he very kindly opened our 'Home Computer' exhibition.  I kept in touch with him and visited him only a few weeks ago when he donated some of the machines he had collected over the years to the museum.
